When breastfeeding is hard, you can ask questions and get help and encouragement in person from educated breastfeeding professionals and other nursing moms. When breastfeeding is easy, you can walk in with milk stains on your shirt and in desperate need for adult interaction completely judgement free.
Our group provides a safe place for Moms to come together and share their experiences and knowledge or ask advice. We provide evidence-based information as well as our group’s collective experience. Expecting parents are strongly encouraged to attend meetings as this will help prepare them for those first days and weeks with a newborn. It’s a great place to ask questions, weigh your baby, make new friends and get support from other moms in your community.
The Milk Bar is free, and registration is not required. A baby scale is available for mothers to weigh their children for free. Siblings are welcome. The Milk Bar meets weekly on Mondays.
Mondays, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. (Except Holidays)
